The Fox and the Ghost King

By Michael Morpurgo

There is a soccer team(the Foxes) in UK, founded in Leicester in 1890 and ranking high and low since. In its lowest position in 2008, it's even expelled down to the third tier ensuing from 30 m pounds debt in 2002. It almost seemed its destiny came to an end.

In August 2012, King Richard III was found under a Leicester car park, and a right royal turnaround in the Foxes’ fortunes began, with the top flight, the Premier League, in 2014. Even though, it had to escape the expel from the Premier League again narrowly, it became a crowned champion.

It is fun to see how this fact intrigued the author to write the story. I can't stop admiring the author's imagination to compose the story how the Foxes team was saved from the abyss of the consecutive defeat by the real fox's help.
